    Jordan Pickford’s water bottle provided all the answers as his Manuel Akanji prediction helped England beat Switzerland on penalties. The Everton goalkeeper saved the only spot kick of the shootout as the Three Lions were faultless from 12 yards. Trent Alexander-Arnold ultimately scored the winner but Switzerland missed their first penalty as the Manchester City centre-half saw his effort saved.

    England fans all say the same thing about Bukayo Saka’s England penalty heroics

    England fans have been hailing Bukayo Saka ’s “redemption” after dragging the Three Lions into the Euro 2024 semi-finals. The Arsenal forward hauled the Three Lions level just five minutes after Switzerland’s opener. Breel Embolo had given his nation the lead. Saka’s stunning effort found England a foothold, before he then netted in the resultant penalty shootout. It was a full-circle moment for Saka who endured sickening racist abuse after failing from the spot in the Euro 2020 final against Italy.
