Empire co-stars Grace and Trai Byers have announced they are expecting their first baby together, in an adorable social media post.
The Anika Calhoun actress shared a sweet Instagram picture announcing the happy news.
The couple, who married in 2016, posed on the red carpet of Trai’s Broadway show The Piano Lesson as Grace cradled her bump.
‘Happy Opening Night on your Broadway Debut, my beloved King,’ she penned.
‘Words absolutely fail when it comes to describing how deeply and overwhelmingly proud we are of you, @traibyers. What a night!’
In the second picture, the pair both adoringly held her growing bump.
Fans and friends rushed to celebrate the happy couple in the comments, with producer Devon Franklin penning: ‘My brother was a revelation last night!!! Congratulations!!!! I’m so excited to be an uncle!!!!!! Love y’all forever and a day!!’
Meanwhile actress Jaina Lee Ortiz wrote: ‘These pictures are absolutely stunning. Congratulations my friends!
‘Careers blossoming and families expanding. How lovely it is to see you both glow.’
