Fantastic news! (Picture: ITV)
Emmerdale star Martelle Edinborough will be sticking around on the ITV soap for a while, as she was given a delightful gift from the team that confirmed her future.
The actress, who plays Suzy Merton in the show, was given a personalised coat with her name on the back – something only permanent members of the cast typically have.
She shared the news on her Twitter, posting a photo wearing the coat and writing alongside: ‘When you get your cast coat with your name on the back!!’.
This prompted many sweet responses from Martelle’s followers, including one Twitter user who said: ‘It suits you! Great to see you back on screen with Roxy’.
Roxy Shahidi plays Suzy’s friend, Leyla Harding in the soap.
When Suzy first arrived, Leyla was horrified and did her best to get her pal out of the village.

It soon became apparent that this was because Leyla had previously been dealt cocaine by Suzy in the past, an addiction that eventually spiralled out of control again and had a huge impact on her and Liam’s (Jonny McPherson) marriage.
We then discovered that Suzy was the person who gave Moira’s (Natalie J Robb) daughter, Holly, the drugs that killed her back in 2016.
Suzy also started a relationship with Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) as she settled into life in the Dales but, in order to coincide with Michelle’s maternity leave, it came to an end when things became unhealthy and Vanessa decided to take a job in Canada.
