Will Samson be okay? (Pictures: ITV)

The aftermath of Emmerdale’s deadly storm saw the Dingles come to the realisation that Samson (Sam Hall) was missing.

Having had an argument with Sam (James Hooton) and Lydia (Karen Blick) over his responsibilities as a new parent, he stormed off, claiming to be visiting a friend.

It wasn’t until Sam was in hospital after being impaled on a tractor that Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) noticed he was missing.

With his phone going to voicemail, a search for the missing teen was soon underway.

As Friday night’s episode ended, we saw him lying under a pile of leaves.

Next week will see Amelia (Daisy Campbell) fretting over the whereabouts of her daughter’s father. In order to make her feel more at ease, Noah (Jack Downham) promises to continue the search for him.

Taking Mack (Lawrence Robb) out with him, the pair eventually stumble upon a lifeless Samson in the woods.

The pair are left horrified when they are unable to work out whether he is alive or dead.

Meanwhile, Lydia is tasked with breaking the news of Samson’s disappearance to a still fragile Sam. How will he cope knowing that his son is missing?

With the storm having already claimed two lives, could Samson be its final victim?
