As Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) continues to spend a lot of her time on social media in Emmerdale, Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) quickly discovers his girlfriend is somewhat naïve to the dangers that lurk on her various platforms.

Amelia is developing a presence online as a way of promoting Mandy’s (Lisa Riley) salon business and also earning extra money to provide for Esther and help her dad out.

She thoroughly enjoys the prospect of being social media famous but in upcoming episodes, it appears Amelia is spending a little too much time on this project as Dan (Liam Fox) finds out that she’s been skipping college.

When Noah expresses his concerns, pointing out that Amelia’s prioritising her social media over other things, she gets annoyed and says that he needs to be supportive, or not be involved at all.

After Noah helps Amelia with her college work, he sneaks a look at her phone notifications and is horrified by what he’s spotted.

Alone with Dan, Noah tells him what he’s seen, so he chooses to confiscate Amelia’s phone and laptop.

The problem continues to get worse when a man called Lloyd enters the salon and reveals to Amelia that he’s the top subscriber on her page.

This leaves her confused as it becomes apparent that she believed Lloyd was actually a woman.

Demanding one on one time, Lloyd traps Amelia in the salon all alone but thankfully, Mandy enters and helps her employee out.

As Lloyd’s messages stream in, Dan decides to involve the police as a letter from Amelia’s stalker confirms that Lloyd now knows where they live.

But can the police help in this situation?
