Charity made a move on Liam this week (Picture: ITV)
Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) was on hand to help Caleb Milligan (William Ash) in Thursday’s (August 31) episode of Emmerdale – and also revealed some interesting details about his neglected plums.
The local doctor is currently moving on after having an affair with Wendy (Susan Cookson). The sneaking around and kissing in the shed on the allotments eventually saw Wendy and Liam’s secret revealed, putting an end to us discovering intimate secrets about their sex lives.
What a shame.

Tonight, Liam’s BFF Cain (Jeff Hordley) called him to take a look at a battered and bruised Caleb. He had been attacked by Harry and a group of men after word got out that a number of guns had gone missing.
Because Caleb’s job involved dabbling in crime, he couldn’t go to the hospital to get patched up so Liam arrived, who revealed that Caleb will be fine so long as he doesn’t lose consciousness.

As he entered the house, Liam chatted to Cain about how he doesn’t have a lot of work on today, and is spending the afternoon at the allotment because his plums ‘have been terribly neglected of late’.
The irony of Liam’s sad looking plums comes after not only his affair with Wendy, but a surprise date with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) of all people.
