Nasty Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) picks the lock of Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) garage in Emmerdale hoping to steal a car and make some fast money, but he’s in for a shock – and a fight.
He’s got his eye on an Audi which Cain is working on, so he picks the lock after hours and gets inside, where he frantically searches for the keys.
But he suddenly sees a stony-faced Cain standing right behind him.
Ever-smiling nanny Nicky has lately shown his sinister side, as soon as he was revealed to be the son of Caleb Milligan (William Ash) and the grandson of Frank Tate and Faith Dingle.
With Nicky set to marry Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) to get his hands on her part of the Tate fortune and dad Caleb working on taking every penny that Kim Tate (Claire King) has, the pair are set to cause havoc.
But has he bitten off more than he can chew with Cain? Especially as he’d already pressed Cain’s buttons on Friday, saying that his son Isaac Dingle (Bobby Dunsmuir) had stolen a telescope.

Cain punches him in the stomach, and when Nicky looks up at Caleb for support, he doesn’t help.
Taking matters into his own hands, Nicky grabs a spanner, but Cain instinctively throws a hard punch in his face.

Later, in the Woolpack, Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) knows something’s up with Cain, as he’s not in the mood to celebrate her birthday.
Cain’s disappointed by his actions, but Moira tries to reassure him that he’s making progress in dealing with his anger.

Meanwhile, in the beer garden, Caleb’s fuming with Nicky over his attempt to steal the car and warns him to stay in his own lane – leaving Nicky seething with resentment.
But with Caleb struggling to control Nicky, surely it can’t be long before the mighty Kim works out what’s really going on?
Emmerdale continues tonight at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
