Emmerdale spoilers: Evil Damon Harris takes shocking action to control Chloe as he plots revenge on Mack Boyd

Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) continued to be manipulated and controlled by her evil father in Friday’s (December 15) episode of Emmerdale.

Yesterday, we finally met Chloe’s dad.

He is called Damon Harris (Robert Beck) – but when he was attacking Caleb Milligan (William Ash) and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) a few months ago, he went by the name of Harry.

In tonight’s episode, Chloe and Reuben continued to stay at Damon’s house.

She was focusing on the prospect of leaving the Emmerdale village forever and starting a new life elsewhere, and knew her dad could help make that happen.

While Damon drew Chloe in with gifts and the idea of living in a little house with olive trees and a bakery, it became increasingly obvious he wasn’t going to help her flee anytime soon.

When Chloe mentioned the prospect of contacting Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson), Damon immediately shut it down. He said that Amy nearly handed Chloe over to her ‘psycho ex’ and didn’t think it was wise if she knew her location.

Somewhat terrified of her father, Chloe then decided she didn’t need to ring anyone after all.

Later on, as Damon challenged Chloe’s emotions by mentioning how much he loves getting to know Reuben, he then revealed getting her passport sorted was taking longer than expected.

Damon ignored Chloe’s desperation and her fears about Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) finding them and said he will do whatever he can to keep her and Reuben safe.

Despite the anger and obvious hatred she feels towards Mackenzie, Chloe still has feelings for him – but made a huge mistake by expressing them and how much she misses the family unit she had with Mack while speaking to her dad.

A frustrated Damon told Chloe that she didn’t need Mackenzie because he will be there to look after her and Reuben instead.

Convinced Reuben could easily forget Mack, Damon forced Chloe to say that ‘he [Mack] doesn’t exist’.

Taking Chloe’s phone, Damon then put it in a drawer, pushing forward with the plan to isolate her from everyone.

It’s only been a couple of days and already we have established who Damon Harris is.

This a very dangerous man – and Mack should be very, very worried.
