Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) was struggling in Friday’s (November 24) episode of Emmerdale.
The beloved character was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease a few weeks ago and, despite his initial comments about facing the battle alone, a handful of people are aware of his illness.
Except David (Matthew Wolfenden).
Of course, Brenda (Lesley Dunlop), Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant) and Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) all want to help Eric and be there for him, but Eric is set in his ways – he doesn’t let people in easily.

The conversation was interrupted by David, who believed Jacob and Brenda were talking about Eric’s bad mood.
