With Billy’s (Jay Kontzle) kiss with Gabby (Rosie Bentham) still hanging in the air, could Dawn (Olivia Bromley) also be hiding a destructive secret in Emmerdale? Belle (Eden Taylor Draper) looks set to make an accusation that could obliterate their marriage.
Belle and Tom’s (James Chase) relationship had a rocky start over his discovery of her mental health issues, but while they fought to overcome the problems, they’re about to be tested again.
Two things that can mean death to a relationship come into play – insecurity and jealousy.
The first issue for Belle is hearing Tom say he wants to find a new place to live away from the village. Her mind is wracked with anxiety over what this means, why would he want to be further away from her?
It’s not a great sign that her boyfriend no longer wants to be near. Could he have a secret lover on the go that he wants to keep hidden?
The next spike in her paranoia comes when she witnesses a spark between Dawn and Tom. The fear is exacerbated when Tom pulls up in his fancy new car outside the vets and immediately offers to take Dawn for a spin, leaving Belle irked.
Belle is certain she’s picked up on some worrying behaviour here. Have they just headed off to christen his new car in an x-rated manner?

Dawn is not blind to Belle’s jealousy (or is that guilt?!) and attempts to make peace, later inviting her and Tom on a double date. But while her intentions were good, things descend into madness resulting in Belle storming off in a huff.
But instead of sorting the problem, Tom receives a vet call out and uses it as a reason to escape. It all seems a bit suss, is Belle right?
