Caleb Milligan (William Ash) made his arrival to the Emmerdale village at the end of last year and right now, we still don’t know a great deal about him.

Brother to Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter), Caleb entered the Dales with the intention of getting to know his Dingle family – but he’s done a lot more than catch up with them over a cups of tea and biscuits.

Once he discovered Cain was behind bars for a crime Kyle (Huey Quinn) actually committed, Caleb set about trying to convince the family that telling the truth would be the best thing for everyone.

This week, Caleb’s theory was proved correct as Kyle’s case was dropped.

One thing that remains a problem is the clashing that is continuing to happen between Amy (Natalie Ann Jameson) and Cain.

For Amy, she believes Kyle shouldn’t be around someone Cain, as doing that landed him in trouble with the police in the first place.

Understandably, given the support he’s shown over the past few weeks, Amy calls on Caleb for help with the custody case in this new video.

Caleb tells Amy that he doesn’t believe Kyle is best suited at her house, and points out that when he was having a horrible time at the secure unit, he was more than likely imagining himself surrounded by the likes of Cain and Moira (Natalie J Robb) to make himself feel better – not Amy and Matty (Ash Palmisciano).

As Caleb continues to argue that he just wants what is best for his family, we know from previous episodes that’s not strictly true.
