Emmerdale confirms surprise affair outcome and shock diagnosis in 32 pictures

Emmerdale lines up more drama next week with a shocking showdown, a diagnosis confirmed and an affair at risk of exposure, as previewed in Metro’s latest picture gallery with a whopping 32 pictures.

The ITV soap has seen emotions run high for its mainstays over the past few weeks, with Heath Hope’s (Sebastian Dowling) death sending shockwaves through the village while Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) continues to struggle with Harry’s death.

Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), meanwhile, was devastated when Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) found a lump in her breast and, next week, the pub landlady confirms her hospital appointment before asking Liam to accompany her.

In emotional scenes, she receives her diagnosis as doctors confirm that she has triple negative cancer. Upon returning home, she vents to Liam about her diagnosis, with the village GP doing his utmost to support her.

Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick), meanwhile, works out that Chas is struggling and after offering a friendly ear, Chas confides in her about what she’s going through.

Elsewhere, Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) comes to suspect that wife Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) is having an affair with Caleb Milligan (William Ash) and thus makes it his mission to prove his theory.

The former farmhand rifles through Tracy’s phone in search of proof and soon enough, he discovers deleted messages from Caleb. Without wasting a second, Nate makes a beeline for Mill Cottage, hoping to catch them out. But will he succeed?

And the never-ending war between Aaron and Cain Dingle (Danny Miller and Jeff Hordley) persists, with Aaron pushing Cain’s buttons at every given opportunity, which frustrates Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), who warns Aaron that it quite simply won’t end well for him.

But despite concerned Mack’s efforts, Aaron proceeds to do what he wants, stealing Cain’s personal car.

In typical Cain fashion, the mechanic is not pleased when he finds out what Aaron has done, with a brutal fight ensuing between the two – which ends with Cain pinning Aaron down on the floor.

Will he end his nephew in the violent brawl?

Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, January 22 and Friday, January 26 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
