Emma Raducanu to play in Transylvania Open as US Open champion’s return picks up pace
The Daily Express says Emma Raducanu has entered her third tournament since winning the US Open as a qualifier. After putting her name down on the entry list for the Kremlin Cup in Moscow in mid-October and taking a wild card into the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells that begins next week, the new world No 22 has now confirmed she will play the Transylvania Open at the end of October, in her father’s home country of Romania.
Raducanu is filling up her calendar as she makes the transition to life on the pro circuit full-time.
