Glastonbury speculation is in full force as fans excitedly fawned over leaked headliners such as Madonna after tickets sales were delayed.
Madonna rumours swirled after Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis hinted at a big American superstar taking the final Pyramid stage slot.
The Material Girl, who made a triumphant return to performing after her illness, would be a major win for the already prestigious festival which saw Elton John close the show last year.
Headliners such as Dua Lipa and Coldplay were named in leaks of the Glasto 2024 line up, with hopeful festival goers clamouring for information and tickets.
However, Emily, 44, has dismissed the leaked line up as ‘untrue’, asking fans to be patient while plans are finalised.
‘As always, there is much speculation and excitement about who is playing at Glastonbury,’ she wrote on Instagram.

She continued: ‘We are working on the line-up day and night at the moment, but it’s still changing every day. The story about our confirmed headliners is untrue.
‘As always, we love your enthusiasm and guesswork – but accurate news on headliners will be with you sometime in the new year!’
The first ticket sale for the iconic Worthy Farm event was due to kick off on Thursday, November 2 at 6pm but was delayed abruptly.
Glasto-goers were disappointed to hear the tickets would also be more expensive this year – £20 more – coming to £355 plus a £5 booking fee for standard tickets.
Organisers have now moved the on-sale date for tickets + coach travel to 6pm GMT on Thursday, November 16.
General admission tickets will then go on sale at 9am GMT on Sunday, November 19.
