Metro – Ed Sheeran ticket touts: Shame on you
“Shame of you” is the headline pun on the front page of the Metro as it reports on the reaction from Shape Of You singer Ed Sheeran’s management team to news that a group of ticket touts have been convicted of fraud after reselling tens of thousands of concert tickets.
The paper says the group used 127 names and 198 e-mail addresses to buy 47,000 tickets before selling them at “vastly inflated” prices. It adds that, in one message, they were seen saying they aimed to “rinse consumers for as much profit as they are willing to pay”.
