Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) had her marriage to Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) blessed in tonight’s episode of EastEnders, but it soon became clear that her true feelings lay elsewhere.
Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) has been trying to make Suki see that she is unhappy in her marriage for months now, despite Suki insisting that she’s not.
However, the truth came out tonight following the blessing, when Suki finally gave in to her real desires and kissed Eve, leaving her shocked.
After falling in love months ago, things between them came to an abrupt end when Nish was released from prison.
The Panesar patriarch had served 20 years for murdering someone he believed had been in love with Suki.
Knowing how jealous her husband can get, Suki was desperate to keep things with Eve a secret.
But could their affair be set to be rumbled sooner rather than later?
A conversation between them in last night’s (March 2) episode was overheard by son Vinny (Shiv Jalota), leaving the two of them paranoid and shaken.
Tonight, he confronted his mum, but it seemed that, thankfully, he was on the wrong track.
He confessed that he had overheard them talking and that he knew Suki was cheating on his father, though he assumed that it was with a man.
While Suki managed to talk him out of revealing the truth by assuring him that she is still in love with Nish, there is every possibility that he could reveal all in future, especially if he works out who his mum is really seeing.

With Suki insisting that Eve is all she’s ever needed, will she be able to escape Nish’s controlling clutches and follow her heart?
