Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) tries to use his past health problems to his advantage in EastEnders soon – but it ends in complete disaster.
Shortly after we discovered Cindy (Michelle Collins) was alive and living with Ian and Peter (Thomas Law) in France, Ian had a heart attack as a result of the stress surrounding Cindy’s witness protection.
Now back in Walford, Cindy and Ian are working together to open a new food business – but money always seems to be the thing that stops them moving forward.

Coming up, after Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) tells Rocky (Brian Conley) it’s time they found their own place, he invites Cindy, Ian and Peter over for lunch under the ruse that Kathy wants them all to bury the hatchet.
Sadly, Rocky’s secret agenda to win them round so they can move back in Number 45 is soon rumbled, and the peace talks quickly descend into chaos.

As the week continues, Sharon (Letitia Dean) decides to act as a mediator and sets up a meeting between Kathy and Ian so they can resolve their issues.
The next day, while nursing a hangover, Ian chats to Cindy and Peter about their potential investment opportunity but their conversation is cut short after Ian gets a phone call – there is a competitor for the lease on the pawnbrokers which could end up scuppering their plans.
