Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) could be in serious danger in upcoming EastEnders scenes as Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) plans to take revenge on Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley).
Rocky recently made the grave mistake of taking a loan from Nish despite knowing that he would struggle to pay it back.
He and Kathy have been facing severe financial difficulties ever since Rocky’s ex Jo Cotton (Vicki Michelle) extorted £50,000 out of them.
While Kathy has been working all hours at the café in order to pay off their debts, Rocky has resorted to gambling – a very dangerous game indeed.
With Kathy eager to put down the deposit on a new flat, Rocky couldn’t find it in him to tell her that they couldn’t afford it, and instead agreed to a loan from Nish.

Now, if there’s anyone on Albert Square that you don’t want to cross, it’s Nish Panesar.
In upcoming scenes, Rocky will confide his worries in Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman), who misguidedly encourages Rocky to ask Nish for lower loan repayments.
Rocky is quick to follow Harvey’s advice, but is left horrified when Nish reveals that there would be major financial repercussions should he choose to change the terms of their contract.

Essentially, Rocky is screwed.
He is left in complete turmoil as he wonders how to combat his rising debts while keeping Kathy in the dark , and soon comes to realise that he may be in too deep.
Things only get worse when the fuse box blows in the café, leaving Kathy in crisis as she can’t afford to pay for a professional to fix it.

Meanwhile, Nish begins to realise that Rocky has been fobbing him off as he discovers his gambling addiction – and soon he is seeking revenge.
He is quick to issue a harsh warning to Rocky that he must pay up or he will tell Kathy everything.
But with Rocky completely out of cash, will that warning be enough?

We know that Nish is a violent man capable of anything, having already spent 20 years in prison for murder and, more recently, viciously attacked wife Suki (Balvider Sopal).
