Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) was outside the cafe with a very large hangover in Thursday’s (October 19) EastEnders.
With help from Sharon (Letitia Dean) and a lot of wine, Ian and Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) buried the hatchet and finally got their relationship back on track.
As Ian drunk coffee outside with Peter (Thomas Law) and Cindy (Michelle Collins) tonight, his hope of spending the day feeling sorry for himself changed drastically due to a phone call.
Ian was told there’s a competitor for the lease on the pawnbrokers, which could scupper his and Cindy’s business plans.

This sent Ian’s stresses through the roof.
As he headed into the chippy, Ian took his frustration out on Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) who had lost two customers due to a delivery distraction.
Peter, Bobby and Cindy tried to help Ian, but he was worried how the news about the pawnbrokers would impact the Beale empire.

Cindy then reminded Ian that the stress isn’t good for his health after having a heart attack – and that she can’t afford to bury her partner if anything was to happen to him anyway.
The mention of a death or murder in any episode since February of this year has made our ears prick up.

This is because it comes after a flash-forward scene which confirmed a dead body will be found in the pub at Christmas, and Suki (Balvinder Sopal), Linda (Kellie Bright), Denise (Diane Parish), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Sharon (Letitia Dean) and Stacey (Lacey Turner) will be present.
Right now, we don’t know who the victim will be, but recent pictures have seemingly confirmed that Sharon is wearing a wedding dress during the flash-forward because she is engaged to Keanu (Danny Walters).
But does that mean he will be the dead body?
