The Lisa Fowler star and husband Richard are said to have gone their separate ways.
EastEnders star Lucy Benjamin has reportedly split from her husband of 17 years.
Lucy admitted they rushed into tying the knot because “I was a bit pushy but you’ve got to get on with it,” revealing she was seven weeks pregnant before the wedding.
The actress, best known for playing Lisa Fowler in the BBC One soap, and husband Richard are said to have called time on their marriage after a number of difficult months.
‘Lucy and Richard tried to make it work but ultimately decided it was best they split up, a source told The Sun.
“It’s been rough for them both in recent months but hopefully they can now start looking forward to the future.
In the statement they went on to address the importance of the fmaily unit and said “Their children will always be their number one priority.”
They are said to have gone their separate ways, and looking to rebuild their lives separately.
