EastEnders fans can’t get enough of Sharon and quite frankly neither can we (Picture: BBC)
If there is anything that EastEnders fans have taken away from this week’s visits to the Square it’s that it truly is Sharon Watts’ (Letitia Dean) world and we’re all just living in it.
The Walford icon, who is undoubtedly enjoying one of her greatest stints on the BBC One soap in years, has had quite the week, taking on a number of dangerous and threatening men without so much as a flicker of hesitation.
We have no choice but to stan.
After partner Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) ended up in hospital at the hands of Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), Sharon decided to confront the hardened criminal, who proceeded to spout endless chilling threats.
But did that deter her? Did Sharon do as sinister Ravi commanded and keep out of it? Of course she didn’t! Refusing to hide in the shadows, Sharon called the police and watched with glee as Ravi was carted away by officers, looking fabulously camp and iconic as she did so.
Give her all the awards instantly.
If that wasn’t legendary enough, the former Queen Vic landlady subsequently stood up to a newly released Ravi in the pub, refusing to back down from a fight, as she made her feelings quite clear, urging both he and Nish (Navin Chowdhry) to leave at once.

Nish, who likes to think he’s the big bad wolf and evidently gets off on threatening women, reckoned he would then confront Sharon, suggesting that she stay in what he believes to be her lane in a bid to intimidate her.
Nish, sweetheart, you have no idea who you’re messing with. Sharon, like the queen she is, took hold of Nish’s face, flawlessly rebuking his threats as she revealed that she can play dirty too.
The definition of iconic.
EastEnders viewers, like us, were left in absolute awe of queen Sharon, with many taking to social media to heap praise on the soap legend.
‘SHARON AJSKSL god i love her,’ exclaimed one excited social media user and, honestly, we can relate, while another added: ‘Sharon strangling Nish IM HERE FOR THIS!!!! DON’T MESS WITH SHARON WATTS!!!!!!’
In reference to the look on Sharon’s face when Ravi was arrested, one fan said: ‘Absolutely obsessed with Sharon’s iconic smirk making a return for this camp doof doof’

‘More Bad**s Sharon Watts tonight,’ said another on Thursday (May 4). ‘Yes please.’
Yes please indeed. Sharon Watts’ renaissance era has commenced, and we could not be more excited.
