GB News viewers shocked as Eamonn Holmes falls off chair live on air
GB News watchers and studio guests were visibly shocked after Eamonn Holmes fell off his chair during a live broadcast.
The TV presenter, 65, was heard falling with an almighty crash this morning on the show while the camera was trained on the guest, Charlie Rowley.
A stunned ‘oh my gosh’ was heard in the background with Charlie’s face the picture of utter confusion and concern.
Eamonn quickly reassured everyone: ‘I’m fine, fine, fine, carry on, carry on,’ as Charlie stumbled over his words in an attempt to get back on track.
The show cut to an advert break but Eamonn reiterated he was okay on its return, and a GB News representative confirmed they would be talking with him after the show.
And Eamonn’s representative told Metro: ‘Eamonn slipped off his chair. I’ve been told he’s fine to carry on.’

‘What happened on GB News? I was driving home from work listening on the radio. I heard a smash sound in the studio, Eamon goes “im fine” but that Ellie sounded panicked and was saying “OMG”. Then they cut to adverts,’ Karl recounted.
‘Eamonn fell off his chair…he’s OK thankfully, hurt his back again though…ouch!’ Fibutton added.

Earlier this month Eamonn was rushed to hospital after a nasty fall in the bathroom (Picture: Eamonn Holmes/Instagram)
The fall comes just weeks after he was hospitalised due to an accident at home in which he had the ‘worst bang’ to his head and shoulder.
In an Instagram post explaining what happened, he wrote: ‘I was very worried about me. [I] fell on the bathroom floor and once I was down, I couldn’t get up.’
He recalled: ‘I went down and I said, “I’m dead” I have never had a bang to the head as sore and as powerful as that before. I lay there and I thought, “Where’s the blood?” There was nothing, no blood, no split, nothing like that.’
He has been open about his various health procedures over the years
Eamonn was eventually able to call an ambulance and received treatment.
The former This Morning host has been candid about his health issues over the years including a double hip replacement and spinal surgery for a slipped disc.
In a post earlier this year, he reflected on his chronic pain.
‘‘Even when the sun shines, there’s pain. Sometimes I feel I’ll never beat this disc immobility but I’m determined to have a life ….. so pray for me, help me or get out of the way Social Media haters,’ he shared.
