There is a ‘diminishing probability’ of intelligent alien life on Earth – and that is ‘not a good thing’, according to the outgoing Pentagon UFO boss.
Dr Sean Kirkpatrick, who is stepping down as director of the US Department of Defense’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), was asked if he thinks his office could identify something as extraterrestrial.
‘Now I know out in the universe, because of the vastness of the universe, and I think most of the scientific community would agree with this, it is statistically impossible that there is not life out there,’ said Kirkpatrick on Wednesday night.
‘Whether or not that life has found Earth, whether or not they have traveled here – that is a diminishing probability as you go down that train.’
Kirkpatrick concluded: ‘Like I said, that would have been the best thing that we could have had happen, because the alternative is not very good.’
