We now know the details of how Thom Evans proposed to Nicole Scherzinger – prepare for your heart to melt.
The Pussycat Doll, 45, announced her engagement to the Scottish rugby player, 37, last week with the most adorable photos.
Thom got down on one knee as the pair soaked up the sun on vacation, much to Nicole’s surprise.
‘I said yes 💍’, Nicole wrote in her Instagram caption, clasping her hands over her mouth in shock in the snaps.
It has now been reported that Thom – who started dating Nicole three years ago – asked Nicole to marry him after a slap-up meal at a swanky Portuguese restaurant.
According to The Mirror, the lovebirds dined at Casa de Cha da Boa Nova, set on rocks overlooking the Atlantic.

Thom well and truly pushed the boat out with this date night, with the menu consisting of meals and wine for two that will set you back *cough* £750.
Well, it’s not every day you propose to your other half!
Sources told the outlet that Nicole and Thom were ‘in their own world’ as they tucked into their expensive dishes, later posing for a pic with head chef Rui Paula and his staff.
An insider, presumably kitchen staff, hailed them a ‘lovely couple’ who were ‘very complimentary’ of the food.
‘We’re thrilled to have played a part in such an important day for them, and hope to see them again in the future,’ they said.
Nicole recently thanked her fans for all their well wishes after a whirlwind week.

Not only did Thom pop the question, but she also celebrated her birthday, with fans in disbelief over her age.
Taking to social media, the US star had us all envious with a series of travel snaps, capturing her and Thom strolling through the most idyllic gardens, wine glasses in hand.
‘Thank you so much for all your beautiful birthday wishes and kind messages from our engagement’, she wrote in her caption.
