Days of our Lives star James Lastovic has been found after going missing in Hawaii, it has been claimed.

The actor, who starred as Joey Jonson for five years in the long-running soap opera, is thought to have disappeared while travelling with his roommate, Nevin, in Kauai.

James’ mom, Lucienne Lastovic, shared a concerning post about his disappearance on her Instagram page, pleading with people to share it.

In a new update from TMZ, Nevin’s sister reportedly posted: ‘My sister and James are okay, they got lost on their hike but made it back to their car and are on their way back to the resort now.

‘Thank you everyone for reposting and helping us reach Nevin.’

Lucienne sounded the alarm earlier today, explaining that James and Nevin were staying at the Hanalei Bay resort last week and were due to return to California earlier today but did not return their rental car, or board the plane.

‘MISSING: JAMES LASTOVIC & NEVIN DIZDARI: PLEASE REPOST,’ the estate agent wrote. ‘PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG TO ANYONE YOU KNOW IN KAUAI. HAWAII.

‘MY SON James AND HIS ROOMMATE Nevin ARE MISSING! These 2 young adults stayed over at the Hanalei Bay Resort this past Friday Oct 7, Saturday Oct 8 and yesterday, Sunday Oct 9.

‘They were due to fly back today but never made their flight nor returned their rental car. This is NOT LIKE THEM! They are both consciencious kids.

‘The LAST THEY WERE HEARD FROM was yesterday Sunday October 9th at 1:30 pm Hawaii time when they texted their hostess, Carrie Flanders at the Hanalei Bay Resort.

‘The last they were seen was by Carrie Flanders yesterday at 8 am. Carrie is from Brea and was gracious enough to have them stay over for 3 extra days [sic].’

‘They asked for info about KOKEE state PARK so they could take the long trail hike,’ she continued. ‘They also asked her directions to Shipwrecks Beach to the Cliff diving area.

‘They never returned back to the resort lastnight. They left all their belongings at the resort which are now in the police’s possession [sic].’

Lucienne concluded the post with additional information about their trip before pleading for any information and volunteers to help search for them.

Fans and friends flooded her comments section with supportive messages.

‘Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help. I’m so so sorry,’ a follower posted.
