“Home… For one last time” is the headline on the front of the Daily Express, which features a picture of the Queen’s coffin entering Buckingham Palace.

The paper gives more details about how mourners clapped as the Queen’s hearse made its way down Constitution Hill and around the Queen Victoria Memorial before driving through the gates of the royal residence, following a 15-mile journey from RAF Northolt. Some people were seen putting down their umbrellas as a sign of respect as the car drove past them, even though it was raining.
