    Junior Handling final winner

18-year-old junior handler Julie Erikson and a Pointer called Arthur were named the winners of the Joe Cartledge Memorial International Junior Handling final at Crufts.

The competition sees 38 young handlers, ages 12 to 19, from all over the world, demonstrate their handling prowess and breed knowledge with a dog they had only met that morning.

Who will compete in the Best in Show final?

Only seven dogs can make it to the Best in Show final on Sunday.

Every dog has to first secure victory in their respective group to qualify for the final.

Owner Glenn Robb and his Papillon Sophia, from Oswestry, Shropshire, will represent the Toy Group at the final after winning the group title yesterday.

Miniature Schnauzer Liza from Croatia and her owner Ante Lucin came on top in the Utility group on Friday, earning their spot in the final.

Miuccia, a Whippet from Venice, and her handler, Giovanni Liguori, won the Hound Group title at Crufts 2025 on Thursday.

Jack Russell Terrier Ana from Italy and her handler Andrea Vallerini, secured the victory on the Terrier Group.

We’re still waiting for the results of the winner for the gundog group who will progress onto the Best in Show final.

    Gundog group

Gundog group display has kicked off now.

The judges will thoroughly examine each canine against the parameters of an ideal gundog.

Last year, the panel picked Hendricks the Weimaraner as the 2024 Gundog group winner.

Owned by David Alcorn and Gavin Ingram, the four-year-old was praised for his calm demeanour and love for the spotlight.

David described Hendricks as a “consummate show dog” who “thrives” in high-pressure events.

The three-year-old from Solihull, Birmingham came out as top dog from the 24,000 entrants from around the globe.

Melanie said: “We all dream of winning best in show at Crufts.”

Asked whether he lived up to their expectations, she added: “He did actually, I should never doubt him because he always gives me everything and you come in and he’s like ‘yep, come on let’s do this’, so he loves every minute of it.”

Before we find out the winner for this year’s gundog category, let’s take a look at the past winners.

Lagotto Romagnolo named Orca took the crown and stole the dog show at the Crufts in 2023.

Orca travelled all the way from Croatia with his owner Javier Gonzalez Mendikote.

    Agility winners

The international agility competition with large dogs concluded with a victory from Peeper and his handler Kim Barreau.

The category has been introduced in 1978 and tests dogs fitness level through an obstacle course.
