Coronation Street star Sally Carman has shared a snap with the ‘love of her life’ and surprisingly we’re not talking about her husband and co-star Joe Duttine.
The actress, who plays Abi Webster in the ITV soap, is married to Tim Metcalfe star Joe, with the pair having tied the knot over a year ago.
The couple delayed their wedding multiple times due to Covid, but ultimately got wed in 2022, surrounded by their loved ones.
But while Sally has often discussed her love for Joe, her latest social media post sees her refer to a different ‘love of her life’.
Her beloved dog Figz, of course!
The soap star took to social media to share a number of snaps with the pet, including a selfie of them of both together – and we’re in absolute love.
‘This boy,’ she wrote. ‘The absolute love of my life.’
Sally’s Corrie co-stars were quick to comment, with Jodie Prenger, who plays Glenda Shuttleworth, writing: ‘Love this’, while DS Swain star Vicky Myers added: ‘Just look at him’.
It’s been a quieter year for Sally’s cobbles character Abi, but she’s set to feature heavily in upcoming scenes involving Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney).
