Former Coronation Street star Craig Gazey has returned to screens, leaving viewers in shock as they recognised him from his stint on the cobbles.
The actor, who played Graeme Proctor in the ITV soap, takes on a new role in The Bay, which returned to screens for its fourth series last week.
Craig plays character by the name of Ozzie Peel in the police drama, with Ozzie having popped up during the latest episode.
The star rose to fame on Coronation Street, playing Graeme, who was the cellmate of David Platt (Jack P Shepherd), making his debut in April 2008.
Graeme proved incredibly popular with audiences of the show, with the character later arriving in Weatherfield as a mainstay.
Craig won a strong of awards for his portrayal of Graeme, who was known for his killer one-liners and eccentric behaviour, making him one of the soap’s most popular residents.

‘I’ve always wanted to do an eclectic mix of work and Corrie is very different to what I did before,’ the soap star said at the time.
‘Graeme was only meant to be in eight episodes, so I was thrilled when they asked me to stay on.
[I’m glad it was only a small part initially – if I’d auditioned for a regular character, I don’t think I would have got it.’

Graeme embarked on a relationship with Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan), after the two grew closer following the death of her dad Joe.
The character was written out in 2011, as Craig revealed that he intended to pursue other acting roles.
