Fiz continues to be haunted by her past (Pictures: ITV)

Being haunted by John Stape is something that still hasn’t gone away for Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) as very soon in Coronation Street, she discovers someone is planning on publishing a book all about the serial killer.

Calling into the pub during Friday’s edition of the ITV soap, Fiz tells Ty (Alan Halsall) that a journalist wants to run an article about her ex.

After a chat with the reporter, Fiz discovers they’re planning on serialising a book about John in the paper, leaving Tyrone to assume Phill (Jamie Whittaker) must be behind it.

As a new week begins, Tyrone shows Fiz the first extract from the book in the Gazette.

Fiz’s heart sinks, knowing full well that when gossip starts to spread, Hope (Isabella Flanagan) will probably end up being targeted as the daughter of a murderer.

Still convinced Phill is behind it, Fiz suggests to Tyrone they call the journalist who worked on the book and organise a meeting.

But who is really behind it?

Could it be Phill, getting revenge after Fiz and Ty broke his heart?

Or is the culprit closer to home?

Fiz is always haunted by John Stape.
