Sally is worried that Tim might be dead (Picture: ITV)
Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) is worried sick about her beloved husband Tim (Joe Duttine) in Coronation Street next week after Stephen Reid’s (Todd Boyce) reign of terror.
The former mayor of Weatherfield was left perturbed earlier in the week when Tim vanished without a trace, with subsequent scenes seeing her find out that he didn’t attend the football match she thought him to be at.
Tim, as viewers know, was conducting his own investigation into Stephen, who he’s long had suspicions about, with his mission taking him to the canal where he uncovered a corpse in the water.
The body in question was none other than that of Teddy, who Stephen brutally murdered with a hole puncher earlier this year.
Tim raced back to his cab to report the discovery but Stephen was on to him and, after trying to choke the life out of him, the killer hit him across the back of the head, before leaving him bound and gagged in the back of a boot.

Stephen had intended to set the car alight after dousing it in petrol, but a police helicopter overhead prevented him from seeing his sick plan through.
But is Tim still there? And if so, is he still alive?
Stephen, meanwhile, has now finally met his end and as a result attention turns to missing Tim, with upcoming scenes seeing Sally having a sleepless night as she worries about what Stephen meant when saying her husband’s name.

Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox), who Stephen also tried to murder, does her best to console Sally while simultaneously worrying about her missing son.
The question is: will Tim be found before it’s too late? Or did Stephen succeed in claiming a fourth victim?
