Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) was recently surprised in Coronation Street when an old face came back into his life.
He originally met Crystal (Erin Austen) before his life changed completely when he was caught up in an acid attack.
Crystal was a promoter for clubs in Ibiza, and handed aspiring DJ Ryan her business card. It seemed like his dreams of being a superstar DJ were about to come true, but then he was caught up in the traumatic attack when Daisy (Charlotte Jordan)’s stalker, Justin (Andrew Still), planned to disfigure her by throwing acid in her face.
Ryan ended up getting most of the acid thrown into his face and was left scarred for life.

Unable to deal with his injuries, Crystal soon vanished from Weatherfield. For a while Daisy posed as Crystal and texted Ryan in a misguided attempt to make him feel better.
Ryan and Daisy became closer and recently slept together after giving in to their feelings for each other, but Daisy decided that it’s Daniel she really loves.

Unexpectedly Crystal returned to Weatherfield, and she and Ryan were able to pick up their relationship – much to Carla (Alison King)’s disapproval as she warned that Crystal wasn’t to be trusted and could break Ryan’s heart again.

Despite Carla’s misgivings things seem to be going well between Crystal and Ryan and in upcoming episodes she calls at the bistro and invites Ryan to join her in a bar in town later. He’s elated and finally seems to be moving on from his feelings for Daisy.

But then he takes a call offering him a job – news which completely throws him and he has to cover his feelings in front of a suspicious Leanne (Jane Danson).
Is the new job something to do with Crystal? And could it end up taking him away from Weatherfield?
