Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) continues to try and hold her family together in Coronation Street soon, but she’s thrown when a debt collector arrives with some terrible news.
The knock on the door happens as a result of Ed (Trevor Michael Georges), who has a gambling addiction and relapsed shortly before Christmas. The ordeal spiralled out of control for the builder, who spent months failing to tell his family what was going on for fear of their reaction, and disowning them.
In this new video, Dee-Dee is shocked by the arrival of a debt collector. Given her career as a solicitor, Dee-Dee tries to get control of the situation but ultimately, she knows what has to happen next.

The man tells the Baileys that the debt from Ed needs to be recovered – through cash or items from their house.
With Ed on the scene, he tells the collector that he doesn’t need to remove belongings from their home – he has an alternative idea.

Ed remains hopeful about the future as he informs Dee-Dee that his mate Marcus has offered him a room to stay in, and he’s hoping that Gary Windass (Mikey North) will put in an offer on the builder’s yard.
