Coronation Street fans have loved the addition of Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney to the show, who has shaken things up between Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and nan Evelyn (Maureen Lipman).

However, there has been one thing about her that has left people confused: How does she have such perfect teeth?

Cassie came on to the street as a drug addict, and ended up overdosing within her first few episodes.

Thankfully, she survived, and headed off with mum Evelyn to get clean.

However, years of drug use definitely has an affect on dental health, so how has Cassie managed to keep her pearly whites so… pearly white?

Well, she hasn’t.

The show recently addressed Cassie’s dental health in a scene which showed Tyrone asking daughter Hope (Isabella Flanagan) if she had brushed her teeth.

‘Look after them, I don’t want you forking out like I’ve had to over the years. These have cost me a fortune,’ Cassie told her, gesturing to her own teeth.

So, it seems that Cassie’s perfect teeth have been the result of countless trips to the dentist and expensive dental work.

Fans on X, formerly Twitter, were amused by the reference to her perfect teeth, having been quick to pick up on it.

Cassie has caused quite a stir since arriving on Coronation Street, least of all with her shiny teeth.

Viewers soon discovered that she was Evelyn Plummer’s daughter, and Tyrone’s mum.

Tyrone had grown up believing that his mum was dead, so Evelyn was nervous about him finding out the truth.

However, it soon all came out, when Cassie announced it in the middle of the Bistro, leaving Tyrone completely stunned and upset.

Initially, he cast Cassie and Evelyn out of his life, but soon warmed to the idea of getting to know his mum.
