Authorities in Brazil have resorted to using concrete graves to bury the dead of Covid-19 deaths, for fear of infection from corpses. Images obtained from Brazil show the burial ceremony of the dead. In addition to the box, the door of the grave is covered with concrete doors and covers.

The daily number of Coronavirus deaths in Brazil has risen to a record high today, indicating that the country is still in a fierce battle with the virus, The Ministry of Health has declared it has recorded 6,935 new cases of the coronavirus since Monday evening and 600 new deaths. The previous death toll was 474 on April 28.

According to the ministry, the total number of confirmed Coronavirus infections in the country jumped to 114,715 and 7921 death tolls, making Brazil the most affected country by the virus in Latin America.

Brazil is the largest country in both South America and Latin America. Brazil is the world’s fifth-largest country by area and the sixth-most populous. Many sources suggest Brazil’s coronavirus deaths will be the largest in South America, and the country has failed to gain control over the pandemic spreading.
