Cillian Murphy was spotted enjoying a pint with Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight in London.
The 46-year-old actor downed Guinness while he chatted and laughed with the famous screenwriter during a lengthy pub trip.
While enjoying a couple of half-pints, the star signed autographs for fans near the watering hole and wrote his name on pictures of his character Thomas Shelby from the popular gangster drama.
Later on that day, he was seen moving on to glasses of champagne at French House while his drinking buddy Steven polished off the rest of the bottle and left at around 8pm that night, according to MailOnline.
Rounding off his five-hour session, the star then caught up with friends at a different venue before leaving central London.
Their meeting came after reports Peaky Blinders would be getting a film adaptation due to hit screens in 2024.

Opening up about his iconic role, Cillian explained how he nailed Thomas’s signature look and the process he endured to make sure he embodied the essence of the Peaky Blinders leading man.
In 2022, he told Radio Times that he bulked up his frame to appear more ‘imposing’ for his portrayal of the leader of the Birmingham criminal gang.
He explained to the publication: ‘I’m not a very physically imposing person. So I have to eat a lot of protein and lift a lot of weights and do all that stuff.

‘So that takes a while, which I hate.’
Cillian went on to share the story of his last drinking session with the show’s creator in the Garrison pub in Birmingham so he could get integrated into the world and learn more about the writer’s ambitions.
He revealed: ‘We’re just drinking Guinness there, and they’re singing Birmingham City songs and telling all sorts of stories, and I was recording on my iPhone.

‘And then I took that home, and used it to try and track the accents, you know. And then I would call Steve and just leave voicemails on his phone in the accent and see how close I was to it.’
Peaky Blinders sixth and final season premiered in February when audiences saw the story of Thomas come to an end.
