Chris Hemsworth treated his social media to an ab-tastic display as he gave his fans an update on his current workout routine.
The star celebrated turning 40 earlier this month and proved age was just a number, showing off his impeccable shape with a series of exercise clips.
In the clip that garnered plenty of interactive attention online, the actor was working out alongside ultra-marathon sea swimmer Ross Edgley, 37.
He endured multiple exercise routines in a sunny location and took his training outdoors with sprint intervals, ropes, medicine balls and body-weighted movement.
Chris captioned his video with an explanation as to what he had been getting up to in the gym after his milestone birthday.
He penned: ‘Doing a lot less heavy weight sessions lately and incorporating sprint work and more functional movements.

‘A solid full body workout routine. Feeling good And in case you’re wondering yes I left @rossedgley in the dust…..um well maybe, unfortunately the camera ran outta film so we’ll never know for certain @centrfit.’
Underneath the sweaty video, fans flocked to the comment section to praise the star on his ripped physique and fitness progress.
Training partner Ross teased: ‘The only person I know who’s muscle fibres are becoming MORE fast twitch and powerful with each slice of birthday cake.’
A fan hinted: ‘Why I had a feeling that when u start workout, we are going to see another blockbuster movie.’

Another admitted: ‘I watch avengers just because of him,’ while a separate account wrote: ‘So beautiful sir’.
The movie star’s workout footage came after he shared images scoffing birthday cake in celebration of turning 40 years old.
On August 11th, Chris hit the milestone and updated fans with a series of pictures of himself sat at a table behind two huge cakes and a smaller cupcake.
His caption read: ‘Thank you for all the birthday wishes! Another lap around sun and still goin strong! I can safely say not a single piece of cake made it through the night.’
The star was dressed in a grey beanie hat and held up a knife ready to cut into his birthday spoils in honour of the big day.
