Chris Evans offered a rare insight into his marriage with Alba Baptista during a ComicCon appearance in New York City.
The 42-year-old Captain America star showed off his wedding ring at the event and opened up about his relationship.
Tying the knot with 26-year-old Alba earlier this year, Chris explained that the couple got married twice, in two different ceremonies.
He told crowds at the superhero celebration: ‘Last year was busy. It was just job, job, job. Three films in a row, it was just a little exhausting.
‘This year has been a little less work, a little more personal stuff. I got married. It was really, really great.
‘We actually had two ceremonies. We had one on the East Coast, we did one in Portugal. My wife’s Portuguese [to huge cheers] Yeah, go Portugal!

‘They were wonderful and beautiful. It’s a lot, planning a wedding, it takes a lot out of you. But now that we’re through that, we’ve just been enjoying life, gearing up for Autumn – my favourite season.
‘It’s the best time of year right now. Now we’re just relaxing, enjoying life and reflecting.’
Chris was reported to have walked down the aisle with Alba last September in front of plenty of Marvel movie cast mates.
Taking place in Cape Cod, the A-lister and his new actress wife said ‘I do’ during an intimate ceremony in Massachusetts that saw the likes of Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner take their seats at a private estate.
Handing in their phones on arrival and signing their names on the dotted line of an NDA, the surprise wedding was ‘locked down tight’, according to Page Six.

Chris and Alba were reportedly together for almost two years before they decided to make things official and exchange vows.
Going Instagram official at the beginning of the year in January, the couple were first linked publicly last November after an insider told People they had been seeing each other for ‘over a year’ and ‘they are in love, and Chris has never been happier … his family and friends all adore her’.
