Schools and Covid: Children will rarely be asked to take lessons outside, Gavin Williamson says
The i says Children will not be routinely asked to take lessons outside if their school is suffering Covid-19 outbreaks, Gavin Williamson has said.
Speaking as most children in England returned to class, the Education Secretary promised to “move heaven and earth” to stop schools shutting again.
Last month, the Department for Education issued guidance to headteachers on what they should do if their school is hit by a Covid-19 outbreak.
