The Trento prosecutor’s office has opened a case for the accident which, last week, involved a seven-year-old boy in San Martino di Castrozza, who was hit by a snowmobile. The alleged crime is negligent injury. The accident occurred on the afternoon of Monday 16 December on the edge of the ski slopes. From an initial reconstruction, the child would have climbed onto a snowmobile parked at the edge of the slopes of the ski area to take a photograph. The vehicle moved suddenly, picking up speed, overturning and overwhelming the child still on board.
