Villarreal CEO Fernando Roig Negueroles says Filip Jorgensen was overly ‘hasty’ joining Chelsea this summer and believes the goalkeeper would have benefitted from another season in Spain.
Chelsea were intent on bringing in a high-class ‘keeper to provide cover for Robert Sanchez before the transfer deadline and agreed a deal with Villarreal for Jorgensen worth in the region of £20million.
