The Celebrity Gogglebox stars didn’t know where to look! (Picture: Channel 4)
The stars of Celebrity Gogglebox were left in fits of laughter after learning all about condom sizes, thanks to an expert.
Airing on Steph’s Packed Lunch with Steph McGovern earlier this week, the informative segment explained to viewers how to, erm, measure their manhood.
Now, it was all for a good cause as host Steph explained that STIs have risen but ‘9 in 10 men are buying and wearing the wrong size’ condom, which is the best way method of protection against gonorrhoea and syphilis.
However, the way the segment – or should we say ‘condom masterclass’ – was conducted, well, it wasn’t exactly presented as the most straightforward exercise.
The doctor began explaining to people how to find out the right condom size for them.
‘There are various ways of measuring. One is length,’ he said, pulling out an adult sex toy to demonstrate.

‘You can use a piece of string or a bit of tape, looking from above with an erection, press the string into the base and measure along.’
As educational as the segment was, it left our celebs giggling behind their cushions, with Fearne Cotton saying: ‘It’s just too much!’
‘Oh my God, who’s gonna do this?’, asked a bewildered Lucy Beaumont.
‘This is ridiculous!’, Jon Richardson stated.
‘So, you’ve gotta get an erection and then get a little bit of string out?’, a baffled Fearne added.
The expert proceeded to explain the second method of measuring the ‘girth’ which, understandably, our Goggleboxers branded ‘the worst word ever.’
The whole process was very mathematical (Picture: Channel 4)
Roman Kemp was baffled by the idea of needing to use a calculator for condom sizing (Picture: Channel 4)
He told viewers that, to find the correct size, they should, quite literally, do some mathematics, getting out a calculator for assistance with the multiplication and only earning further cackles from the sofa critics.
‘No one is gonna do this!’, said Zoe Ball.
Roman Kemp added: ‘Hang on, so I’m standing there with my k**b out, a piece of string, and then a calculator…’, unable to finish his sentence as he burst into laughter at the visual.
‘F**k me, you need a f***ing A-level to get a packet of jonnies!’, Shaun Ryder said, perfectly summing up the whole thing.
Of course, viewers at home were also living for the entertainment.
‘how has buying condoms turned into a year 8 maths question’, one person tweeted.

‘And the prize for the most 80’s comment tonight goes to Shaun Ryder “You need an A Level to buy a packet of Jonnie’s”,’ tweeted another.
It wasn’t just viewers at home who found themselves cringing at the daytime TV segment, as broadcaster Zoe left her own son red-faced.
The 52-year-old radio host told Woody, 22, of her pride after discovering he had used condom.
‘I remember when I found the first condom in your bin and thinking, “He’s a man”,’ she told him.
Woody – who Zoe shares with ex-husband Norman ‘Fatboy Slim’ Cook – obviously looked horrified and was quick to hide behind a pillow.
Gogglebox airs Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4 and All4.
