A federal judge in New York has issued a ruling preventing the deportation of a man shot by ICE agents, following significant public protests. The decision reflects ongoing legal and social tensions surrounding immigration enforcement practices.
U.S. House candidate Bernadette Greene-Placentia reported being sexually assaulted while repairing campaign signs in August. After coming forward, she received hundreds of messages from women sharing similar experiences. Greene-Placentia is contesting Arizona’s 8th District seat against Republican Rep. Abe Hamadeh in November.
President Trump announced that Russia will supply millions of tonnes of diesel fuel to the global market to alleviate rising prices. Following a call with President Putin, Trump said 300,000 tonnes would be released immediately, with additional shipments planned for subsequent months. The US Treasury will temporarily waive sanctions on Russian energy.
The ruling marks the first time the court has weighed in on such a case.
