Jeff Bezos, the multi-billionaire and founder of Amazon, has continued to divest his shares in the company, bringing the total value of recent sales to over $4 billion (£3.2 billion). The tech giant, established by Bezos in 1994, confirmed that he has sold 24 million Amazon shares this month alone. Serving as the firm’s executive chair, Bezos had last offloaded Amazon shares in 2021.

President Joe Biden strongly criticised his expected 2024 election rival, Donald Trump, for his recent remarks regarding NATO, labelling them as “foolish,” “disgraceful,” and “anti-American.” The Democrat condemned Trump’s suggestion that he would support Russia in attacking NATO members failing to meet defence spending obligations.

Former US President Donald Trump has petitioned the Supreme Court to halt a lower court’s decision denying him presidential immunity from prosecution. Trump had argued that he couldn’t be prosecuted for actions taken during his presidency, particularly in a case involving election interference.

The chief of NATO has criticised Donald Trump’s suggestion that the US wouldn’t protect NATO allies who don’t spend enough on defence, stating it undermines security and puts troops at risk.

Jens Stoltenberg emphasised that such remarks could endanger US and European troops.

Trump indicated he would “encourage” Russia to attack any NATO member not meeting the alliance’s 2% GDP defence spending target.

Former President Donald Trump has secured a decisive victory in the Nevada Republican caucus, winning by a significant margin. The only other contender listed on the ballot was Ryan Binkley, a pastor and businessman.

As a result of this win, Trump is set to claim all 26 delegates from Nevada, as per the party’s system for selecting its presidential nominee. Initial tallies reported by CNN indicated that the former president garnered over 98% of the total votes.
