Joe Biden – BidenHarris
Pennsylvania-born Joseph Robinette Biden has spent most of his adult life in elected office.
At the age of 29, he won a seat representing the state of Delaware in the US Senate as one of the youngest ever elected to the chamber.

Biden’s 2020 bid for the presidency is his third. Campaigns in 1988 and 2008 both fizzled. The first ended amid allegations of plagiarism. The second resulted in then-candidate Barack Obama choosing the elder politician as his running mate.
Biden, now 77, served as vice president during Obama’s two terms from 2008 to 2016.

President Donald Trump
Donald Trump, a 74-year-old real estate mogul and former reality TV star who had never held public office until he was elected president of the United States in 2016, will vie for four more years in office against Democratic candidate Joe Biden in the November 3 election.

Born in the Queens borough of New York City, the son of a wealthy real estate developer, Trump’s life before taking office revolved around decades of business ventures that included real estate, hotels, golf courses and casinos, all bearing the family name.
The businessman turned reality star, who shocked the world with his 2016 presidential win, is seeking a second term.

It’s all breaking here first at WTX News LIVE – 2020 US Election

Incoming US President Donald Trump has picked RFK Jr as his health secretary calling him a great mind in his first speech since election night. Trump said RFK Jr, a known vaccine sceptic, will “help make America healthy again” by protecting them from “harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives”.

Billionaire Elon Musk has been tapped by Donald Trump to co-lead a new body aimed at overhauling government operations. The body aims to streamline bureaucracy and cut federal spending. Trump described the organisation as an external advisory body working alongside the White House and the Office of Management and Budget.

China, after decades of mostly export-based growth, must now deal with massive problems of industrial overcapacity. The country is now trying to encourage more domestic consumption and to diversify its trading partners.

In very traditional Republican terms, he’s talking about tax breaks and reduced regulation. In terms of some of his specific pledges on the economy, he’s talking about getting rid of income taxation on tips and overtime. These things combined have the potential to be quite domestically inflationary, I would say.

He has, of course, proposed hitting China with 50% tariffs and then tariffs on all other imports of up to 20%, including for European countries. So they’re going to have to not only deal with that, but figure out whether they line up behind America on that, or whether they line up behind China on that as well.

Some of the US front pages reflect more updated reports regarding the US election, whilst others, due to time zones, are already old news!

Only a handful of papers declare Donald Trump on the cusp of winning the election whilst others went to print long before those indications became clear.

The more updated front pages also highlight the news the GOP has won back the Senate and that Donald Trump appears to have won the popular vote.
