Lidl has launched its festive campaign, “Lidl Christmas Everybody,” featuring Shaun Williamson, known for his role as Barry Evans in EastEnders. The campaign includes a reimagined version of Slade’s “Merry Christmas Everybody,” with appearances by Chris Kamara, Kemi Rodgers, and Abi Clarke, alongside promoting its award-winning Christmas food range.
Two Hampshire police officers are under investigation for potential gross misconduct following the death of 18-year-old Henry Nowak, who was stabbed by Vickrum Digwa in December 2025. Footage shows officers handcuffed Nowak before realising he required urgent medical help. The Independent Office for Police Conduct is reviewing the case.
The body of 18-year-old James Corlett has been found in Ashby-de-la-Zouch after he was reported missing on October 29. Corlett, from Swadlincote, Derbyshire, had not been in contact with his family since leaving home for a night out. Authorities are treating the death as unexplained.
