Rachel Daly, England international and Aston Villa forward, has announced her retirement from international football. Daly, 32, has 84 caps and was part of the Lioness squad that won Euro 2022. 

England’s second 2025 Women’s European Championships qualifiers match kicks off tonight, with the Lionesses facing the Republic of Ireland at the famous Aviva stadium.

Lioness Captain Leah Williamson is to make her first England appearance in a year in Tuesday’s Euro 2025 qualifier against the Republic of Ireland, manager Sarina Wiegman confirmed.
