Cameramen ‘fall off cherry picker onto van’ while filming at racetrack
The Metro Says: Two cameramen were injured after they fell from a platform while filming at a horse racing track.
One of the men was taken to hospital while the other was treated on the scene by paramedics at the Hamilton Park Racecourse in South Lanarkshire.
It is thought the men fell from a cherry-picker onto a RaceTech van below. All races were abandoned for the day after the accident.
Clerk of the course, Harriet Graham, confirmed two employees of RaceTech were hurt while operating the cameras on the site.
