If you were a fan of Cadbury Snaps, bad news. The brand confirmed via X (formerly known as Twitter), the thin chocolate snacks have been officially discontinued.
Many Brits loved to have them at Christmas time, and with the season fast approaching, some shoppers have gone on the hunt for an alternative.
‘We used to have them Cadbury Snaps at Christmas. Oh my god they were beautiful,’ one fan wrote on social media.
Another wrote: ‘Omg remember Cadbury chocolate snaps they only come out at Christmas.’

Fans asked the brand to bring them back, but on X they confirmed: ‘Hey, Cadbury Snaps have been discontinued, however we still have lots of other chocolatey treats to try.’
So it doesn’t look like they’ll be back any time soon.
However, it’s not all bad news. Eager fans have spotted an alternative at Costco that looks similar.

Called Belgian Chocolate Thins, they come in a salted caramel flavour, and four boxes can be bought for £8.49.
They could make good gifts for fans of the discontinued Cadbury chocolate.
Someone shared their discovery on X, writing: ‘If you remember Cadbury’s snaps you’ll know how gassed I am right now.’
If you missed Snaps, you’ll need to get to Costco to give these a go.
Recently, Cadbury discontinued Dairy Milk 30% Less Sugar, while Quality Street brought back coffee creme, a long discontinued flavour.
Hazelnut Cream KitKat Chunky also made a comeback this year.
