The Loose Women panel claimed that Britney Spears was ‘shaking under the table’ during a 2016 interview.
The 41-year-old appeared on the show with Coleen Nolan, Ruth Langsford, and Janet Street-Porter, who were reflecting on the chat in today’s show in honour of the hitmaker’s memoir, The Woman in Me, being released today.
‘I remember how nervous she was, like shaking nervous,’ shared Coleen.
‘Shaking under the table,’ she later added.
‘I remember thinking her nails were all bitten, and there was half nail polish.’
Coleen, 58, also revealed that she was given instructions in her earpiece that she didn’t feel comfortable carrying out.

‘She was chewing gum, and they kept saying to me in my ear: “Make her spit the gum out” and I’m like: “I am not going to ask Britney Spears to spit her gum out”.’
Coleen added that whilst Britney, who arrived with a big entourage, was ‘a bag of nerves,’ she was also a ‘lovely’ person.
The panel, which also included Nadia Sawalha, were instructed to stick to a pre-planned line of questioning which included asking Britney about her dream date.
‘I like younger guys,’ Britney disclosed.
She also revealed that she likes ‘spur of the moment’ romances.
During the episode, Britney even got the panellists up on their feet and taught them some dance moves. Although it was a fun and light-hearted interview, Janet, 76, now sees it in a different light after re-watching it: ‘Looking back at the interview now she almost seems not present at all.’

In the memoir, Britney goes into detail about her TV interviews, and what was allegedly left out.
‘I even mentioned the conservatorship on a talk show in 2016, but somehow that part of the interview didn’t make it to the air. Huh. How interesting,’ one part reads.
The Sun claims that the TV programme is The Jonathan Ross Show.
She also writes about her life under the conservatorship (‘I became a child-robot’, she claims) her struggles with fame, and her very turbulent love life including her famous romance with Justin Timberlake.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
